Islamabad: The government requested to dismiss Imran Khan's petition against the NAB amendments. The federal government submitted a preliminary response to the Supreme Court. The objection was raised that Imran Khan's petition was admissible. The reply said. It was said that Imran Khan is the party affected by the NAB amendments and the application is not malicious.

The Supreme Court has said that it will not interfere in political matters.   Imran Khan has been making such amendments in his government through ordinances. Earlier, the Supreme Court heard the petition of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan against the NAB amendments. Chief Justice of Pakistan A 3-member bench headed by Justice Umar Ata Bandial conducted the hearing, the court also accepted Imran Khan's request against the new NAB amendments for a preliminary hearing.

The court declared that the lawyers of the federal government can if they wish, raise the objectionable point of the application. Makhdoom Ali Khan, the lawyer of the federal government, said that he will submit a detailed answer to the amended application. The action was taken for not giving an explanation, the action can be taken only after proving the assets from corruption money.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Atta Bandyal remarked that it is a fact that people do not disclose their full assets and income in their tax returns. The Chief Justice of Pakistan declared that he will file the case again at the end of this month, and will hear it on a daily basis from the next date. The court adjourned the hearing of the case until the last week of this month.
