The funeral prayers of nine army personnel killed in an accident in Pakistan-administered Kashmir have been performed.
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR) on Sunday, it is said that a truck of the Pakistan Army fell into a drain in the Bagh area of Shujaabad this morning, resulting in the death of nine people. Soldiers were killed and 4 injured.
The injured person has been shifted to CMH Rawalpindi while the funeral prayers of the deceased were offered at Mangala Garrison.
According to ISPR, Lieutenant General Shamshad Mirza, Corps Commander Rawalpindi, and other military officials offered the funeral prayers.
The bodies of the slain army personnel will be sent to their native towns where they will be cremated with military honors.
