Asia Cup: Excellent bowling by Pakistani spinners defeat Hong Kong by 155 runs

In the sixth match of the Asia Cup T20, Pakistan qualified for the Super Four by defeating Hong Kong by 155 runs.

Chasing 194 runs, the wickets of the Hong Kong batsmen continued to scatter like cards. No batter could get into double figures.

On behalf of the green shirts, Shadab Khan took four wickets, Mohammad Nawaz three, and Naseem Shah two. Hong Kong won the toss and elected to bowl first in the match played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday.

Khushdil Shah and Mohammad Rizwan added 64 runs in the third wicket partnership. Left-handed aggressive batsman Khushdil Shah hit four sixes in the last over.No changes were made to the Pakistan team for the match against Hong Kong.

Pakistani captain Babar Azam said on the occasion of the toss that 'no change has been made in the team, even though they would have won the toss and batted first.'

Earlier, the Pakistan cricket team practiced extensively in Sharjah on Wednesday, but the green shirts canceled their practice session on Thursday.

Three ODI matches have been played between Pakistan and Hong Kong so far, which Pakistan has won all three times. Both Pakistan and Hong Kong lost their first match against India in Group A.
