Emergency meeting on electricity roads and communication system across the country under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed the higher authorities to complete the restoration of the communication system and repair of roads in the flood-affected districts by Friday.

He said that the link roads in Kalam and Swat should be restored by next week.

The Prime Minister said that in the next 48 hours, all the electricity in Balochistan should be restored and the transmission line should be repaired.

He has directed to speed up the restoration work of flood-damaged infrastructure and electricity system and complete it as soon as possible.

No officer of the Power Division should sit in the office until the restoration and repair of electricity, any interruption in the work of the Gwadar Transmission Line are not acceptable under any circumstances, and the construction materials required for the transmission line should be produced at the local level.
