Sindh defeated Northern by 10 runs in National T20 Cup

Rawalpindi: In the first match of the National T20 Cup on the second day, Sindh defeated Northern by 10 runs. At the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Northern's captain won the toss and invited Sindh to bat first. On behalf of Sindh, Saem Ayub scored 92 runs from 52 balls with the help of 6 fours and 7 sixes, while Saad Khan scored 26 runs.

The Sindh team scored 190 for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

On the Northern side, Sohail Tanveer took 3 wickets while Salman Irshad, Usman Shinwari, Mehran Mumtaz, and Aamir Jamal took one wicket each. In response, the Northern team managed to score 180 for 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, Nasir Nawaz 32, Mubasher Khan 33, Zeeshan Malik 29, and Sohail Tanveer 21 were outstanding for the Northern. From the side of Sindh, Mir Hamza took 3 wickets, Sohail Khan 2 wickets, while Saem Ayub and Zahid Mahmood got one wicket each. Salem Ayub of Sindh was declared Man of the Match for his outstanding all-round performance.
