Prime Minister's announcement of the establishment of the 'National Flood Response and Coordination Centre'

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that in order to deal with the situation caused by floods at the institutional level, the establishment of the 'National Flood Response and Coordination Center' was approved in the flood emergency meeting today.
On Monday night, Shahbaz Sharif wrote on Twitter that the center will be headed by the Prime Minister and will consist of federal ministers, representatives of the armed forces, chief ministers, and experts.

The prime minister further wrote that 

the center will act as a bridge between 

disaster management authorities, donors,

 and government institutions. 

The center will collect and analyze the latest information and send it to the relevant government agencies. The center will oversee the maintenance of infrastructure including rescue and relief.
