Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has won the by-election in National Assembly Constituency NA-245 in Karachi.
The polling time was 4:00 p.m., and the B-election in Constituency Tank Nah 245 started at 8:00 a.m. and continued till 5:00 p.m. without any break.
According to the unofficial and non-final results of the complete 263 polling stations of NA 245, Mehmood Maulvi of Tehreek-e-Insaf was declared successful with 29475 votes.
MQM candidate Moeed Anwar came second with 13193 votes.
The Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan candidate who participated in the voting, Muhammad Ahmad Raza, secured 9836 votes.
Apart from this, independent candidate Farooq Sattar got 3479 votes and Muhammad Shahid of the Muhajir Qaumi Movement got 1177 votes.
The candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf won by a margin of 16282 votes and the voting turnout in the constituency was 11.8 percent.
