The Islamabad High Court has taken notice of former Prime Minister and Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan's threat to Additional Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry.
According to the spokesperson of the High Court, after the Registrar High Court presented the material regarding Imran Khan's speech on Saturday, all the judges decided to initiate contempt of court proceedings after consultation.
A three-member bench has been constituted to hear the case.
The bench will include Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb, and Justice Babar Sattar.
A three-member bench will hear the contempt of court case against Imran Khan on Tuesday.
Earlier, the Islamabad High Court had granted temporary bail to Imran Khan till August 25 in the case registered under terrorism provisions.
A division bench comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and Justice Babar Sattar approved Imran Khan's three-day bail in the FIR registered under the Anti-Terrorism Act for blasting Additional Sessions, Judge Zeba Chaudhry and police officers.
It may be recalled that on Sunday, a case was registered against Imran Khan under the Anti-Terrorism Act for 'intimidating and intimidating' senior police officers and Additional Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry.
The case was registered in Margalla Police Station under the jurisdiction of the Magistrate President Islamabad Ali Javed.
According to the FIR, a Tehreek-e-Insaf rally against the arrest of Shahbaz Gul was taken out from Zero Point to F-Nine Park, which was led by Imran Khan. Imran Khan suddenly started threatening and threatening the police officers and Additional Sessions Judge while addressing the rally held at F Nine Park.
