New oil and gas reserves discovered in Pakistan

Pakistan Petroleum Limited has achieved success in the discovery of reserves during excavation in the Shahpur Chakar area of ​​the Sanghar district of Sindh.

Sanghar: New oil and gas deposits discovered in the country. According to the details, significant success has been achieved in the discovery of new oil and gas reserves in Pakistan's Sindh province. According to media reports, Pakistan Petroleum Limited has been successful in the discovery of reserves during excavation in the Shahpur Chakar area of ​​the Sanghar district of Sindh.

After drilling 3,560 meters deep, gas, as well as oil reserves, have been discovered, and the discovery of reserves has been confirmed by PPL. Earlier last month, large oil and gas deposits were discovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Last month, oil and gas reserves were discovered in Til block in the Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

It was reported that these discovered deposits will produce 8.3 mmscfd of gas and 34 barrels of crude oil per day.

It should be noted here that significant achievements were made during the search for oil and gas reserves in the country in the month of June this year as well. In June, Oil, and Gas Development Company Limited had two major breakthroughs in the discovery of oil and gas reserves in Sindh and Punjab. During the search for oil and gas reserves, the first success was found in the wet block in the Tando Allahyar district of Sindh, where 1400 barrels of oil per day and 5.20 million cubic feet of gas reserves were discovered.

While the second important success during the search for energy reserves was found at the place of Kalchas block of Rajanpur district of Punjab where gas reserves were discovered, it was said that 12 lakh 40 thousand cubic feet of gas will be obtained from this area per day. It has been reported that especially the gas reserves in the country are decreasing rapidly, in this situation the gas reserves discovered during this year will help to meet the gas demand of the country to some extent.
