Gilgit-Baltistan: Heavy rains and floods wreaked havoc in Goro Jaglot, a suburb of Gilgit, more than 50 families living near the Hunza River were swept away. According to the details, the flood has caused destruction in the village of Goro Jaglot in the suburbs of Gilgit, the relief operation of the Pakistan Army and the civil administration is ongoing in the affected areas.

In the flood-ravaged village of Gaur Jaglot, the Pakistan Army established a medical camp for the affected people and started providing free medicines and relief materials to the affected families. Tents, food items, and medicines are being provided to the victims on behalf of the Pakistan Army.

Locals say that people's houses, land worth lakhs of rupees, and fruit trees have been destroyed on which the provincial government is silent, they have demanded that permanent accommodation should be arranged immediately.
