California: Three people were killed when two small planes collided while coming to land at an airport in the US state of California.
According to foreign media reports, 2 planes collided in Northern California, in which 3 people have been confirmed dead.
The local administration says the plane crash happened near the runway at the airport, which does not have a control tower to directly communicate with the take-off and landing of planes. The management said that there were 340 single-engine pilots on board while 152 single-engine pilots were on board.
According to the National Transportation Safety Board, the planes crashed into each other in the air and the wreckage of the planes was scattered on the airport premises.
