Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salma has thanked Uzbekistan for Saudi Arabia's support to host World Expo 2030 during a meeting with Uzbek President Shaukat Mirziyoyev.
According to the official news agency SPA and Arab News, the joint statement said that "in the meeting between the Saudi crown prince and the Uzbek president, the relations between the two countries and ways to promote them were reviewed."
The Saudi Crown Prince and the Uzbek President have also emphasized the importance of finding investment opportunities between the two countries in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 goals and Uzbekistan's development goals.
It should be noted that in the meeting between Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Uzbek President, bilateral relations, cooperation in various fields, and matters of common interest were discussed.
Both leaders participated in the ceremony regarding the agreements in various fields. Agreements worth 45 billion Saudi riyals (12 billion United State dollars) were signed between the two countries. These contracts include ACWA Power's 'Wind Energy' project in Uzbekistan.
