LAHORE: Mirpur Royals defeated Rawalkot Hawks by 3 wickets in the 12th match of the Kashmir Premier League (KPL) in the second season.
In the 12th match of the event played at the Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium, Rawala Kothawks scored 157 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs while playing first, Rohail Nazir played the highest innings of 69 runs, and Mossadegh Ahmed scored 24. The other prominent batsmen were Imad Wasim with 3 wickets and Shadab Majeed with 2 wickets.
The target of 158 runs was achieved by Mirpur Royals with the loss of only 3 wickets, captain Shoaib Malik played the highest innings of 33 runs, Haris Sohail scored 31 runs, Imad Wasim scored 26 runs and Hassan Nawaz scored 24 runs.
