Karachi: Polling is going on for the by-election in Constituency NA 245 of Karachi.
MQM, Tehreek-e-Insaf, PSP, and Tehreek-e-Labeek have a bitter contest, PPP and JUI candidates withdrew in favor of MQM. Farooq Sattar is also in the fray as an independent candidate.
203 polling stations have been declared highly sensitive and 60 sensitives. More than 5,000 personnel have been deployed for security, Pakistan Army has been kept on standby.
The NA 245 seat fell vacant due to the death of Aamir Liaquat.
