A bus carrying Saudi tourists crashes in turkey

A bus carrying 23 Saudi tourists has met with a traffic accident in Turkey.

According to Al-Akhbariya, the Saudi Embassy in Ankara is looking into the situation regarding Saudi tourists after the accident.
Four passengers injured in the accident were given medical treatment at the hospital.
A bus of Saudi tourists met with an accident in the northeastern city of Riz on the shores of the Black Sea.
Earlier on Saturday, at least 34 people were killed and dozens injured in two separate road accidents in Turkey, both in the south of the country.
Local authorities said 15 people were killed and 31 injured when a bus and an ambulance collided on a highway in Gaziantep province.
Governor Dawat Gul said that "a bus, an emergency team, and an ambulance" were damaged in an earlier accident on the route between the provincial capital Gaziantep and Nizip.
A passenger bus collided with an ambulance, a fire-fighting truck, and a vehicle carrying journalists at the scene of the first accident, the DHA news agency said.
According to local media, three paramedics, three firefighters and two journalists from Turkey's Ilhas News Agency are among the dead.
In the second accident, which took place 250 kilometers from the first, in Derek, Mardin province, reports said emergency workers were attending to an accident when a truck went out of control there. He climbed over the crowd of spectators present.
Health Minister Farhatin Koka wrote on Twitter that 26 people were injured in the accident, six of whom are in critical condition.
Koka wrote that the accident occurred due to a brake failure of a truck in Darek, Mardin province.
Turkish media shared footage of a driver losing control of his truck, then plowing into nearby vehicles and pedestrians who were running for their lives.
According to Turkey's official Anadolu Press Agency, an accident involving three vehicles took place at the same location some time ago.
Justice Minister Beker Bozdag announced that prosecutors had opened two investigations into the accidents.
He said that all resources will be used for the investigation.
According to Anadolu Agency, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also sent Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu to the accident site.
