During the first half of this year, the tourism sector of the emirate performed well.

According to Emirates Illum, Colliers International Consulting Firm says that the UAE has provided attractive opportunities for domestic and international tourists in comparison to 2021.

According to Colliers International Consulting Firm, the Emirates has eased the restrictions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and resumed tourism activities and the tourism environment has been restored.

Colliers International Consulting Firm says that by the end of the second quarter of this year, the number of hotel rooms in the UAE reached 116,800. The highest share is in Dubai, where 2466 hotel rooms were booked during the first six months of this year.

Expectations are that Dubai will provide an additional 1,300 hotel rooms to tourists during the second half of this year.

 Famous hotels in other cities in the UAE will also provide more rooms to tourists. There will be 282 rooms in Sharjah, 696 in Ras Al Khaimah and 175 in Al Fujairah.

The possibility has been shown that the number of rooms in well-known international hotels in the UAE will reach 122 thousand by the end of this year. Next year, their number will be 132,000 and at the end of 2024, 141,000 rooms will be ready to welcome tourists.
