Pakistan's denial of Afghanistan's accusation 'accusations based on speculations are regrettable


Pakistan has denied the charge by the Acting Afghan Defense Minister of using Pakistani airspace for drone attacks on Afghanistan.

In a statement, the spokesperson of Pakistan's foreign affairs office said that in the absence of evidence, which was also acknowledged by the Afghan minister, such speculative allegations are highly regrettable and contrary to responsible diplomatic conduct.

It should be noted that Acting Defense Minister Mullah Yaqoob had alleged that Pakistan's airspace was used for the drone attack in the capital city of Kabul.

The spokesman said that Pakistan reiterates its commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries and condemns all forms and manifestations of terrorism.

The spokesman said in the statement that we urge the Afghan authorities to ensure Afghanistan's commitment to the international community that Afghan soil is not allowed to be used against any country.

According to Reuters, Acting Defense Minister Mullah Yaqoob in a press conference in Kabul on Sunday alleged that Pakistan's airspace was used for the drone attack.

Mullah Yaqub said that according to our information, drones enter Afghanistan through Pakistan, and Pakistan's airspace is being used.

We demand Pakistan not use its airspace against Afghanistan.
