The President of the Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has given orders to provide emergency aid to the flood victims in Pakistan.

According to Emirates News Agency, emergency humanitarian aid has been announced to help the victims of the worst floods in Pakistan's history and the displaced people.

Apart from 300 tons of food items, medicines, tents, and other necessary items will be provided for the flood victims as per medical needs.

Emirati relief teams will also help the needy in collaboration with Pakistani NGOs on a humanitarian basis so that the food and other needs of the victims can be met as soon as possible.

It should be remembered that the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, requested international assistance to deal with the damage caused by the flood on Friday.

There is currently a flood situation in various parts of Pakistan and rescue workers are trying to evacuate thousands of people trapped in the affected areas.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif blamed the "horrors of climate change" for the tragedy, saying that the recent floods are worse than the natural disaster of 2010 in which nearly 2,000 people died due to heavy rains and floods.
