The case of contempt of the Election Commission against former Prime Minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has been fixed for hearing.
According to the statement released by the Election Commission spokesperson on Friday night, the Election Commission issued a notice to Imran Khan and summoned him on August 30.
It should be noted that last Friday, Election Commission issued notices of 'contempt to Election Commission' to Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhary along with Imran Khan.
In a statement released by the Election Commission spokesperson, it was said that Imran Khan, Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhary "used unparliamentary language in their speeches and made insulting statements".
The spokesperson said that the notice of the Election Commission was sent to Imran Khan on allegations against the Chief Election Commissioner. Imran Khan made an insulting statement against the Chief Election Commissioner during a meeting in Bhakkar on July 12.
According to the notice, former Minister Azam Imran Khan made baseless allegations against the Election Commission in Bhakkar Jalsa. On July 18, Imran Khan made insulting speeches and made accusations while addressing the public.

According to the notice, Imran Khan had made insulting remarks against the Chief Election Commissioner on July 21 and 27.
On the other hand, the Islamabad High Court has issued a show cause notice to Imran Khan in the contempt of court case and summoned him on August 31 in his personal capacity.
On August 20, Imran Khan spoke about Additional Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry during a speech at F Nine Park Jalsa in Islamabad, in which he announced action against the said judge.
