13 leaders of the Muslim League (N) approach Islamabad High Court for security bail

13 leaders of the Muslim League (N) have filed an application for protective bail in the Islamabad High Court in the case of rioting in the Punjab Assembly and the alleged torture of Chaudhry Pervez Ali.

It should be noted that the Qila Gujar Singh Police approached a local court in Lahore and requested the arrest of the MLAs for not joining the investigation despite issuing several summonses. Therefore, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for 12 leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) at the request of the police regarding the tension in the Punjab Assembly during On April 16 the election of the Chief Minister Leaders of the Muslim League (N) in avoiding the action of the Punjab Police successful after the warrants were issued, the Punjab Police also raided the residences of at least a dozen members of the Provincial Assembly of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) in several cities of the province.

After which 13 leaders of the Muslim League (N) including Special Assistant to Prime Minister Atta Tarar, Owais Leghari, and Rana Mashhood reached Islamabad High Court and filed applications for protective bail. Other leaders who filed the petition include Adil Chhata, Shoaib Barth, Malik Ghulam Habib, Mirza Javed, Saiful Mulk, Pir Khizr Hayat, Raja Sagheer, Abdul Rauf, Bilal Farooq, and Rana Manan.

In the petitions, the stand has been taken that the Islamabad High Court should grant protective bail and stop the Punjab Police from making arrests.

The petitioners said that there is a false and baseless case in which they want to appear to clear themselves, so protective bail should be granted. In the said petitions, the State and the in-charge of Qila Gujar Singh have been made parties.

Cases were filed against us to take revenge for Shahbaz Gil, Ata Tarr On the occasion of Islamabad High Court's arrival, Atta Tarr while talking to the media said that yesterday Imran Khan reached Pims without meeting permission and made a fuss.

He said that the actual case was about the attack on the Deputy Speaker, was there any arrest on him? Due to the Shahbaz Gul case, cases have been made against our O to take revenge from us.

He further said that false cases are being made against us, it is known that Parvez Elahi's government has come, yesterday the Punjab Police raided the houses of our leaders and took away valuables. Atta Tarar said that we are not the party that is afraid of cases, we have been remanded for 90 days, but we have not done so.
