England offered to host the Pakistan-India Test series

Good news for the cricket fans of Pakistan and India has come from England where the Cricket Board has expressed its desire to host the Pakistan-India Test series.

According to a report in the British newspaper Telegraph, the England Cricket Board (ECB) has contacted the cricket boards of Pakistan and India and offered to hold a Test series between the teams of the two countries.

No bilateral series has been played between Pakistan and India since 2012 on the cricket fields.

The Pakistan cricket team last visited India in 2012, in which T20s were also played in addition to three one-day internationals.

Due to the tension between the two countries, even the cricket series could not be held.

If we talk about the test series, no test match has been played between the cricket teams of Pakistan and India after the year 2008.

So far 59 Test matches have been played between Pakistan and India, out of which Pakistan won 12 and India won nine. The rest of the matches ended without any result.

So far 132 one-day international matches have been played between the teams of the two countries, out of which Pakistan has won 73 while India has won 55.

India has a tough time in T20 where their team defeated Pakistan in seven matches while Pakistan won three matches.
