Asia Cup: Can there be a third match between Pakistan and India?

In the ongoing Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and India have faced each other twice so far. In the first match, India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets, while in the Super Four stage, Pakistan defeated India by 5 wickets on Sunday.

However, there is a strong possibility that on Sunday, September 11, Pakistan and India will once again compete in the final of the Asia Cup. In the Super Four stage, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have won one match each so far, so these two teams will have to win one match each to reach the final. On the other hand, Afghanistan and India will have to win both their matches to reach the final.
If Sri Lanka defeats India on Tuesday, India will be eliminated from the event, but if India wins, Sri Lanka and India will be level on points.
Apart from this, in the case of Pakistan's victory in the match between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Afghanistan will be out of the tournament and it will become easier for them to reach the final, however, if Afghanistan defeats Pakistan, the matter will go towards net run rate.
If Sri Lanka wins their match against Pakistan and India wins both their matches then Sri Lanka and India will reach the final. In the Asia Cup on Tuesday, India must beat Sri Lanka to stay in the tournament.
