Brussels: NATO Chief Stoltenberg says that NATO may intervene if the tension between Serbia and Kosovo escalates.
After meeting with the leaders of Serbia and Kosovo, the NATO chief urged the parties to show restraint and not inflame tensions. He said that if peace is damaged due to the tension between the two countries, NATO's peacekeeping forces will come into action.
It should be noted that Kosovo separated from Serbia in 2008, however, Serbia does not recognize Kosovo's independence, due to which the border tension between the two countries escalates from time to time.
