Our struggle will continue every season: Imran Khan

Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that 'due to flood, our people are in trouble, from above to Swat, Chitral, Gilgit-Baltistan, punishment has come everywhere.'

Addressing a rally in Jhelum on Saturday, he said regarding his visit to the flood-affected area, "I went to DI Khan on Friday, thousands of acres of land are under Could not go to Rajanpur, Taunsa and DG Khan due to bad weather there is also a sea of water.

Imran Khan said that all the water has reached the lands where people were trying to grow crops with their hard work. Almost all the areas of Balochistan have been affected and the condition of people in Sindh is also bad.

The nation fights this test together. The efforts of governments cannot be successful until we as a nation come together.

Referring to the 2010 flood, he said that all Pakistanis helped during that time. I want to tell the nation today that we have to face (the current situation) together.

He also said"I first started assembling the youth volunteer force, Tiger Force, on the website. People are taking its membership.    So first we are assembling a large force that will help the governments. It will go to these (affected) areas and large areas are under water. So it (the force) will help the governments.

The former prime minister said that I will collect money for the flood victims from Pakistanis at home and abroad through a telethon on Monday evening. With this money, we will establish a fund for the governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Dr. Sania Nishtar will see to it and try to give this fund to people wherever they need it.

Imran Khan said that we have to plan ahead for this (dealing with natural disasters). We can build dams and I am proud that we started building 10 dams in our three and a half years. Now after 50 years, big dams are being built in Pakistan. Big dams intercept rainwater and it becomes a boon instead of a bane.'

He gave the example of China and said that there are 80,000 dams in which there are 5,000 big dams. For the first time after Mangala and Tarbela, big dams are being built. So we neglected this.

Imran Khan said I ask all the previous governments, did you not have any sense? By building a dam, cheap and clean electricity is generated from water. '

"We have a water shortage that is getting worse." Dams were needed for this. So no one thought of dams in 50 years. I congratulate my government for starting the plans to build 10 dams for the first time.

Imran Khan once again criticized a section of the media and said that "big advertisements are being published in newspapers that politics should not be done at this time." Do not hold rallies. Open your ears and listen, I am not doing politics among the unscrupulous journalists, but fighting for real freedom.

 He said"I am fighting for true freedom against the thieves who have looted this country for 30 years. 

He criticized the ruling alliance PDM and said that your propaganda that it is holding rallies, doing politics, open your ears and listen to my real freedom struggle will not stop until I do not make the country free from thieves like you.'

The former prime minister said that we are being told that there has been a flood. Don't worry, Imran Khan and his team and his government will do what you can't do if you stay all your life.

No one is willing to give money to you because all your stolen money is lying outside. The one who (Nawaz Sharif) is sitting in London, where did the money come from, he and his sons live in properties worth billions.

Imran Khan criticized Nawaz Sharif and said that he is teaching us that politics should not be done. Listen to Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Fazlur Rehman, and Asif Zardari that our struggle will continue in every season.

In response to the government's allegation that the IMF program will be affected because of the PTI, he said, "For two months, the Finance Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa repeatedly asked you that I want to hold a meeting because The money you promised to the province was not received.'

He was not given the time for the meeting and there was a flood from above, so where will he give the surplus if billions of rupees have been destroyed due to the flood?

Chairman PTI further said in this regard that you (the government) should talk to the IMF. I got concessions by talking to the head of the IMF during Corona. You should talk that our people are in trouble, there is a flood.
